Covert Monitoring despite being a relatively new company established in 2021 the vision for the service we now provide took three plus years to develop. It started with my cousins, brother and myself, Trinis proud of our homeland but very disappointed in what paradise has become. Humbly beginning from regular conversations between family members back home in Trinidad always seem to include the common denominator of the escalating crime rate, but more alarming is the types of crimes being committed.

After The Fact

As Trinidadians trying to address the problem of crime it possibly started with getting a dog if permittable, we then burglar proofed our homes and businesses, some have now chosen technology and those who can afford it have invested in camera systems. I must applaud anyone who has exhausted all the options available to them whether it being one or all of the above avenues mentioned. It is clear that you have gone to great lengths to protect your family, home, business and investments but still with all these pre-cautionary measures crime is still on the rise. Whenever we get to see what occurred at a crime scene either on the news or the police reviewing the footage it is always in response to what happened “After the Fact”.

Crime Prevention

Our approach, realizing the need for an even more proactive solution to the increasing crime rate in Trinidad and Tobago. Being two Trinidadians / Trinbagonians with our heritage, culture and roots deeply embedded into our DNA but residing in North America we acknowledge we have the best angle to develop such a service, my cousin with 25+ years in the military has seen and done it all, from peacekeeping missions to being deployed on tour worldwide, as for myself, I have an electrical background along with half a decade of CCTV installations.

We as human beings tend to subconsciously emit behaviour that we ourselves don’t realize are being demonstrated by us. Armed with this information along with 30+ years of combined knowledge in the field of surveillance, “Covert Monitoring was formed, a 24/7 Exterior Perimeter Monitoring Service” where our ultimate goal is your safety. One thing is clear being able to identify a potential threat in the form of a intruder/criminal as they breach your property line at the boundary is totally different from identifying a threat like an intruder/criminal as they breach your front door or window. Rely on Covert Monitoring to be vigilant even when you can’t. Tailoring The Service

We found the key elements are our ability to relate and understand the culture and dynamics of our people, assessing things like how “we live” was a major consideration (how our homes are built, how our communities are laid out, etc.).
